Metallux develops and manufactures High voltage resistors for demanding industrial and electronic applications. Our thick film high-voltage resistors combine high resistance values and high operating voltages with excellent long-term stability.

Our portfolio includes flat and tubular high voltage resistors, impulse resistors, voltage dividers, high-voltage networks, resistors for PCB assembly and adjustable high-voltage potentiometers.  Eesistance values up to 30 GΩ and operating voltages up to 96 kV in air are available. In addition to our standard portfolio, we develop custom high-voltage resistor solutions for specific applications.

Flat high-voltage resistors

Metallux flat high-voltage resistors 967 are designed for applications requiring high operating voltages and high resistance values in a compact design. They are particularly suitable as wired components for PCB assembly, while selected versions can also be used as SMD components.

The portfolio includes HVR, HPR, HVI, HVD and HVS series for different requirements regarding operating voltage, resistance, power rating, voltage coefficient, temperature coefficient and tolerance.

Tubular high-voltage resistors

Metallux tubular high-voltage resistors are designed for applications requiring high operating voltages, high resistance values and reliable performance under demanding environmental conditions. The 968 and 969 tubular resistor series use a robust ceramic rod as the substrate and combine high electrical stability with low inductance.

The tubular resistor portfolio includes HVR, HPR, HVI and HVD series for different requirements regarding operating voltage, resistance, power rating, voltage coefficient, temperature coefficient and tolerance.

Custom high-voltage resistors

Not every high-voltage application can be covered by a standard resistor. Metallux develops custom high-voltage resistors based on the electrical, mechanical and environmental requirements of the application.
