With its compact design, the PLR offers a high power density in a confined space. It differs from classically wound wire tube resistors in its significantly lower inductance and significantly higher resistance values of up to 500 kΩ.
The standard versions are the PLR 100 with 100 watts, the PLR 200 with 200 watts and the PLR 300 with 300 watts.
Due to its high temperature resistance, the PLR is based on a steel substrate, which also makes it resistant to temperature shocks and mechanical loads. Depending on the application, ceramic can also be used as the base material.
The electrical connection is established via standard litz wires, blade terminal or soldering eyelet.
